It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wicker of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wicker and Sarah Wicker (Stallings); and his brothers, Charles and Jim Wicker. He is survived by: his wife Robin Wicker of Taylorville, IL; his son Michael Wicker Jr. of Decatur, IL; his stepson Nicholas Morehead of Decatur, IL; his grandsons, Myles and Roman Wicker; and his siblings, Susan Nance and Bobby Wicker of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
