It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Frey of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Frey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Niemeyer and Mary Niemeyer (Patton); her former husband Neil Ittenbach; her husband John Frey; her son Neil Allen Ittenbach; and her brother Billy Niemeyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Janette McConnell of Taylorville; her grandchildren, Jessie McConnell, Brady McConnell, Kiersten Ittenbach and Haylie Ittenbach; and her siblings, Thomas Niemeyer of Peoria and Melinda Crist (Bill) of Edinburg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or to Shriners Hospital.
