He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Black Garriott; his parents, Myrle Garriott and Betty Garriott; and his siblings, Robert Garriott, Phyllis Garriott Sams and Linda Garriott Beckner.
He is survived by: his children, David Garriott (Argenta) and Diane Garriott Whitehouse (Argenta); his brother Jerry Garriott (Michigan); and his granddaughters, Linda Whitehouse, Stephanie Garriott Bennett, Kate Whitehouse and Sophia Garriott. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
As a veteran with a deep love for his country, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made, in his honor to the USO and/or Tunnel To Towers.
