He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Derald Merriman (Norma) and Charles Rahar (Eva); his uncle Sam Merriman; and his cousin Billy Rahar. He is survived by: his father Barry Rahar (Lola) of Springfield, Missouri; his wife Angela Hill-Rahar; his daughter Elizabeth Rahar (Sarah) of Foley, Alabama; his stepdaughter Hillary Ferrill-Groves (Seth) of San Jose, Illinois; his mother Gretta Merriman-Seimers of Taylorville, Illinois; his sister Rachel Rahar of Taylorville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Mikiyah Mills, Austin Clayton, Devion Austin, Myanna Austin, Keyaira Jackson and Adilyn Ginger; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Miller of Foley, Alabama, Toby Miller of Foley, Alabama and Arius Miller of Foley, Alabama. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
