As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Stuart may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit "King" Chase and Vivian Chase (Withrow); his brother Steve Chase; and his son-in-law Nathan Turner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Chase; his daughters, Sarah Turner of Springfield and Emily Chase of Springfield, Illinois; and his grandson Ben Turner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services (302 W Poplar St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
