With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sue Wilson of Taylorville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sue left this world on October 16, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Siegrist and Pauline Siegrist; her son Michael Wilson; her siblings, Ellen Lou Siegrist, Max Siegrist, Monte Siegrist and Malcom Siegrist; and her nephew John Siegrist.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Speagle (David) of Taylorville, IL, Paula Lee (Kevin) of Taylorville, IL, Jeannie Masters of Taylorville, IL and Paul Wilson (Gwen) of Valmeyer, IL; her grandson Brandon Masters (Jaime Carlson); her children, Alex Lee (Stormy), Kelsey Speagle, Mark Lee (Cassie Niehaus), Logan Wilson, Breanne True (Jeremiah) and Ashley May (Aaron); and her sister-in-law Lucy Siegrist of Taylorville, IL. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sutton Memorial (327 N Clay St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the Taylorville VFW or to Shriners Hospital for Children.
