He is survived by: his wife Margaretha Strawn of Taylorville; his children, Thomas C Strawn of Taylorville and Amy M. Strawn of Springfield; his grandson Marshal T. Strawn of Pana; his sister Mary Erikson of Poplar Grove, Illinois.; and his nephew Joel Davis.
