He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Higgins and Cecelia Higgins (Thomas); and his brother Don Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ehmen; his children, Darin Higgins (Diana) of Bushnell and Danelle Smith (Denver) of Blandinsville; his grandchildren, Cody Higgins (Sadie), Abbie Franzen (Riley), Daylee Smith and Devyn Smith; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Higgins. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
