She was predeceased by: her parent Mary Bowers (Haga); her grandmother Nellie May Haga; her mother-in-law Grace Hotze; and her in-laws, Jerry Hotze, Ruth, Joe Schmidt, Kay Hotze, Gene Bastedo and Tom Hotze.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Hotze of Teutopolis; her children, Melissa Erwin of Morton, Doug Hotze (Amy) of Sigel, Kathy Bloemer (Troy) of Teutopolis, Gail Macer (David) of St. Charles, MO, Holly Lynch (Blake) of Teutopolis and Gina Wilburn (Alex) of Valley Park, MO; her grandchildren, Cole Erwin, Hannah Erwin (Ryan Price), Michael Erwin, Ethan Erwin, Tara Carrico (Andrew), Erica Hotze (Evan McDonald), Kacie Ruholl (Dane), Seth Hotze, Dylan Bloemer (Courtney Ruholl), Abby Bloemer, Caleb Bloemer, Owen Lynch, Mark Lynch, Leo Lynch, Deacon Lynch, Lexi Wilburn and Daniel Wilburn; her in-laws, Sister Jane Marie Hotze, Ann Hotze, Mary Witt (Bill), Joe Hotze (Andrea), Beth Bastedo, Angie Hotze and Karla Schumacher (Allen); and also, Riley, Leah and Arlo Carrico. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (203 E Main St, Teutopolis, IL 62467). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Forward Strides 4NF, Inc. or Teutopolis Educational Foundation.
