He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Meyer and Kathryn Meyer (Laux); his wife Gloria Kibler; his brothers, Eugene, Harold, Gerald and William; his sister-in-law Joyce Meyer; and his nephew Tony Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Elmore (Greg) of Dieterich, Don Meyer of Gila, Ben Meyer of Heyworth and Mary Sturgeon (Ron) of Springfield, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Lisa Zumbahlen (Bill), Michelle Beckman (Tony), Jason Elmore (Ashli Fenton), Morgan Sturgeon, Bailey Koefoed (Steve), Travis Meyer (Alison) and Derek Meyer; his great grandchildren, Claire Wendt (Caleb), Levi (Carly), Ella, Ann, Sara, Marie Zumbahlen, Jack, Joni, Jenna Beckman and Madeline Meyer; and his sister-in-law Judy Meyer (Margie Probst). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
