In the vast expanse of eternity, Leona shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leona farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Support Systems, Catholic Charities, or the charity of the donor's choice.
