It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Runde of Teutopolis, Illinois, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth; and his parents-in-law, Reuben and Angela Jansen. He is survived by: his wife Deb of Teutopolis; his children, Julie Althoff (Josh) of Teutopolis, Dennis Runde (Kimberly) of Teutopolis, Theodore Runde (Jenn) of Teutopolis, Tim Runde (Kelsey) of Teutopolis and Anne Kottmann (Taylor) of Edwardsville; and his siblings, Dr. Charles W. Runde (Vera), Larry Runde (Sue) and Barb Runde.

Memorial donations may be given to the Teutopolis Civic Club.
