Ray Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on June 20, 2025, at the age of 82, Ray Simmons of Texico, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Simmons to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Simmons and Alice Simmons (Warner); his wife Janice Glee Hawkins; and his sisters, Pat and June Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, J. R. Simmons (Darla) of Xenia, Clay Simmons (Sandy) of Shorewood and Gala Smith (Shaun) of Texico; his grandchildren, Laken Robbins, Jessica Chen, Maria Schippel, Felisha Ashlock and Alicia Williams; his great grandchildren, Hunter Gambill, Colton Gambill, Maggie May Schippel, Adrian Mora and Ariella Knowls; and his brother Jack Simmons.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Union Chapel Cemetery, and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, Illinois 62830.
