He is survived by: his wife Vicki Latrese Guye; his son Kris Guye (GeNaé) of College Station, Texas; his stepsons, Shannon Bell (Anissa) of Marion and Andy Bell of Thompsonville; his grandchildren, Baily Guye of Waco, Texas, Maddie Pappoe (Tim) of College Station, Texas, Katie Guye of College Station, Texas, Josiah Guye of College Station, Texas, Dakota Bell of Marion, Marshall Bell (Brooke) of Pinckneyville, Allie Bell of Chicago, Illinois, Alex Clark of Marion, Jordan Clark of Marion, Peyton Bell of Thompsonville and Parker Bell of Thompsonville; his great grandchildren, Trystyn, Henry, Lilly and Rose; his sister Loretta Bugger (Bob) of Galatia; his sibling's children, Dr. Erica Scheffer-Gonzalez (A. J.) of Cape Girardeau and Daniel Scheffer (Jennifer) of Marion; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kade Scheffer, Jackson and Morgan Gonzalez.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Cemetery and will be received at the funeral home.
