The memory of Richard Paul Trexler of Thompsonville, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 56, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eugene and Anna Lea Trexler (Turner); and his siblings, Darrell Trexler, Jessie Trexler, Linda Romero, Arthur Trexler, Joyce Rains, Charles Trexler and Lee Trexler.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hughes; his children, Richard Lee Trexler (Danee) and Jamie Hostalek (David); his siblings, Mark Semyek and Nancy Stewart (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Natalia Trexler, Gabbanelli Trexler, Luna, Richard Trexler Jr., LaKay Trexler, Cameron Hostalek, Lilliana Hostalek, Octavia Hostalek, Sophia Hostalek and Ivy Hostalek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crain Funeral Home - Anna (135 W Vienna St, Anna, IL 62906). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Alto Pass Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Crain Funeral Home.
