He is survived by: his children, Cindy Assenmacher (Jim) of Clinton, Kristi Gustafson of Moline and Eric Smith (Tiffani) of Thomson; and his sister Janice Houzenga (Andy) of Thomson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
