He was predeceased by: his parents, Amy Thompson and Paul Thompson; his siblings, Deb Jones, Harold Thompson and Rodney Morhardt; his great grandchild Bentlee; and his pet Coco.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Saiter; his daughters, Alicia Starwalt (Floyd Rush) of Davenport, Sandy Thompson of Clinton, Amy Creed (Jason) of Clinton and Bailey Jo Thompson of Davenport; his grandchildren, Dustin Mussmann (Jennifer), Bobbie Douglas (Phillippe), Katie McNeal, Quinton Morhardt (Leah), Maurietta Ashburn, Amie Parker, Adriana Bates, Harley Creed, Atarah Harris, Eugene Harris and Kitana Harris; and his brothers, Gary Thompson of Clinton, Chub Thompson (Virginia) of Jacksonville and Bobby Thompson of Hall, Montana.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
