In loving memory of Helen L. Cissell of Tilden, Illinois, who departed this world on July 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Richard Schlesinger; and her siblings, Robert Weber, Edward Weber, Charles Weber, Louise Jansen, Evelyn Germaine, Norma Clark, Thelma Laflen and Mary Schoen.
She is survived by: her husband James Cissell, Sr.; her children, Charles Schlesinger (Carrie), David Schlesinger (Tammy), Laura Klingeman (Steve), Todd Koester (Jo), Julie Bonebrake (Michael) and James Cissell, Jr. (Rhonda); and her daughter-in-law Karla Schlesinger. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
