We bid farewell to Aminta Kittell of Tilton, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 24, 2025 at the age of 98. Aminta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Santana Ignacia and Maria Ignacia; her husband Lawrence H. Kittell; and her siblings, Isabela "Betty" Crafton, Ignacio "Ernie" Cortez, Aninta Haber, Baldomero "Wally" Cortez, Sarah Cortez, Helen Villegas, Aurora "Toby" Tatro, Santana "Sam" Cortez, Agnes Aguilar, Ruben "Bobby" Cortez of Jose Victor, David Ricardo "Dick" Cortez and Herman Rodolfo Cortez.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Craig Kittell (Pam), Janice Reiselt (Bud), Nancy Brazas-Timmerman (Tim Timmerman) and Carla Marie Kittell; her grandchildren, Joseph Michael Brazas (Jana), Brandy Goulding, Lauren Calloway (Travis), Kristopher Kittell, Adam Kittell (Kat) and Stephanie Clark (Jay); her great grandchildren, Kyle Brazas, Isaiah Goulding, Amyah Goulding, Maverick Calloway, Aspen Calloway, Warren Clark and Frankie Grace Clark; and her great great grandchildren, Evelyn RoseAnn Goulding, Karter Layne Brazas and Henry Lewis Goulding. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in her name may be made to an Education Fund for Certification and Training of the staff at Autumn Fields c/o Longview Bank in Tilton.
