He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Newman and Evelyn Strickland Newman; his son Joseph Paul Newman; and his brothers, Ray Newman, Grady Newman and Harvey Newman.
He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Marozik of Carpentersville, Roy Newman of Arizona and Bradley Marozik of Belvidere, Illinois; his siblings, Ottis Allen Newman of Jonesboro, Georgia, Jeanette Grindle of Harlem and Laura Wage (Dale) of Harlem, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Allyson Newman, Joseph Newman, Savanna Newman, Jade Newman, Parker Newman, Indy Marozik and Willow Marozik. He is also survived by one grandson on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Robison Chapel (103 Douglas St, Catlin, IL 61817). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
