He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrel Lucas and Mary Lucas (Shrout); and his brothers, Robert and Don. He is survived by: his wife Donna Kay Dickson; his children, Christy Wagers (Greg) of Danville, Robin Twidwell (Michael) of Champaign and Erik Hedges (Tawne) of Danville; and his grandchildren, Paige, Blair, Nick, Kaylynn, Halle, Daine and Gannon. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Allen's name may be made to the Humane Society or Oakwood United Methodist Church.
