Wear Sr. of Tilton, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William B. Wear and Susie High Wear Sr.; his half-brothers, Roy Noerenberg and Fred Noerenberg; his siblings-in-law, Brenda Jean Alcorn, Billie Mae Wear, Mary Wear, Chuck Honn and George Vanvekoven; and his nephew Duane Honn.

He is survived by : his wife Janet Lou Gruber; his son William A. "Billy" Wear Jr. (Sherry) of Tilton; his siblings, Floyd Wear and Doris Vanvekoven; his grandsons, William Robert Wear (Laine) and Chad Alan Wear (Desire); and his great grandchildren, Jocelyn Wear, Audrey Wear and Joyce Honn.
