With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Ryan Nykiel of Tinley Park, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 53. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chad Ryan Nykiel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Donald Wayne Walters; his son Jonathan Ryan Knopf; and his grandparents, Stanley Nykiel and Violet Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Ann Moir (Nykiel) of Valparaiso; his aunts, Penelope Burch and Kimberly Oates; and his cousins, Kelli Morrison, Michael Burch and Amanda Shively.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bartholomew Funeral Home (102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial Donations may be made to the family.
