He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Sanford King and Beulah Elizabeth King (Phipps); and his sister Betty Sue Schauberger. He is survived by: his son Gregory King of Tinley Park; his brother Larry C. King of Decatur; his grandchildren, Alexander G. King of Tinley Park, Kenneth W. Anderson and Susan A. Anderson; and his brother-in-law Lloyd W. Ford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brady-Gill Funeral Home (16600 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477). A burial was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at the Lindale Memorial Gardens.
