We announce the death of Elaine A Lesniak of Tinley Park, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 74. Elaine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gino Capellari and Doris Capellari; and her brother Gino Capellari (Jean). She is survived by: her husband Richard Lesniak; her children, Nicole Olson (Erik), Matthew Lesniak (Lynne) and Edward Lesniak (Brooke); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Peter, Andrew, Naomi, Harlow and Zuri; her sibling Russell Capellari (Leisa); and her siblings-in-law, Edward Lesniak (Kate Mallon), Darlene Ramos (late Steve) and Maryann Anton (Bryan). She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church (7399 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
