He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Colleen (Nee McMahon); his children, Karen Nau (Phillip), Kristine Laakson and Brian Laakson (Chrystal); his grandchildren, Corwin, Cameron, Carly, Joshua, Justin, Brooke, Braden and Charlie; his siblings, Carolyn Rescino (Robert), Janet Appleby (Howard), Leslie Laakson, Gunnard Laakson (Stephanie), Robert and Donald Laakson; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Laakson and Kathleen Franzen (Terry). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
