We announce the death of Jacqueline Powers (Tinley Park, Illinois), who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 71. Jacqueline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Patrick Starkey (Rita) and Richard Starkey (Bobbi); and her parents, Chester Starkey and Norma Starkey. She is survived by: her former husband Franklin Adkins; her husband Raymond Powers; her children, April Adkins (Samuel Leonhardt) and Frank Adkins (Lorraine); her grandchildren, Samantha Leonhardt, Katie Leonhardt, Jeremiah Cusimano, Lorraine Cusimano and Scarlett Cusimano-Adkins; her great grandchild Jamir; her pet Roscoe; and her siblings, Alice Brockman (Edward) and William Starkey (Debbie).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Our Hearts (3285 Glenwood Dyer Rd, Lynwood, IL 60411).
