He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gwen; his children, Colleen Karakosta and Jackie Leone (Sam); and his grandchildren, Brayden, Logan, Sydney, Ariana and Luca.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church (17500 84th Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60487). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 S 104th Ave, Palos Park, IL 60467).
