She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Rakowski; her parents, James Hackett and Norah Hackett; and her siblings, Catherine Meuris (Richard) and Patrick Hackett (Virginia).
She is survived by: her daughters, Doreen Sanderson (William), Cheryl Swanson (Gary) and Mary Karyl Duffy (Donald); her grandchildren, Scott Swanson, Nick Swanson (Lauren), Derek Sanderson (Amanda), Joseph Swanson (Nicole), Ryan Duffy, Alex Swanson (Ashley), Lindsay Duffy, Zachary Swanson (Autumn) and Brendan Duffy; her great grandchildren, Siena, Oliver, Luca, Lawson, Charlie, Adeline, Blakely, Caysen, Brylee and Ryker; and her siblings, Patricia Englehart (Wallace), Clare Prentice, Margaret Hackett and Elizabeth Navickas (Thomas). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Stephen Deacon and Martyr Church (17500 84th Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60487). A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 S 104th Ave, Palos Park, IL 60467).
