He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McKay and Marion McKay; his stepmother Carol; and his stepsister Cathy. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Jesk; his son Brooklin; his stepdaughter Samantha; his sister Bonnie (James); and his stepsister Cheri.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert's memory may be made to, the Illinois Firefighters Association.
