We announce the death of Romeo Balediata of Tinley Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 85. Romeo will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Romeo will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Romeo’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Lyndia Baldia (Dante), Lea Alejandrino (Greg), Zenaida Balediata and Emma Balediata. He is survived by: his spouse Irmina; his children, Lynelle and Mark Balediata (Jennifer); his grandson Benjamin; and his siblings, Rodney Balediata (Lolita) and Dolores Balediata.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM. A Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Elizabeth Seton Church (17909 S 94th Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60487).
