He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank B Cass and Freda A Cass (Stephens); his siblings, John, Donald, Arthur Cass (Skip), Beverly Hufnagel Walker and Katheryn Garmes; his wife Margaret Hopper; his daughter Roxane; and his close friend Lillian Stakely.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Talbot (Mike) of Kimberling City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Arica, Arin Miller of Galesburg, Illinois and Joseph Miller of Galesburg. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
