With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Ann Tylka of Toledo, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Brungs and Lorena Margaret "Mary" Brungs (Hunt); her spouse Din Tylka (Doc); her brother William Bill Brungs; her great grandchild Liam Oakley; her parents-in-law, Florian and Caroline Tylka; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Tylka and Loretta Tylka.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Tylka (Vanessa), Tom Tylka (Denise), Chris Tylka (Janet Hill), Kathy Chancellor (Mark), Linda Oakley (Tracy) and Lora Sutherland (Layne); and her sister-in-law Peg Brungs.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (300 N Kentucky St, Greenup, IL 62428). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (110 E Lincoln Dr, Greenup, IL 62428).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cumberland Rehab Auxiliary Activity Fund- 300 N Marietta St. Greenup, Illinois.
