She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schoby and Margaret Mae Schoby (Belmar); her children, Dennis Stites (Kathy), Julie Dowell, Sandra Kinnaman (Larry Duncan) and Jack Whitaker (Donna); her husband Keith; her grandson Barton Whitaker; her great grandchild Gage Wilson; and her half-siblings, Clarence Schoby, Alice Ruble, Edna Bergaman and Lucille Taylor.
She is survived by: her former husband Howard Max Stites; her children, Shelley Carlen (Gregg), Larry Whitaker (Wanda) and Brenda Wilson (HA); and her grandchildren, Melissa Lodes (Tim), Chad Stites, Matthew Woolever, Marshall Carlen (Becky), Levi Carlen, Gina Wickiser, Paula Bullard, Jimmy Wickiser, Brian Whitaker (Belinda), April Goeckner (Frank), Wilson, Bailey Wilson (Melita), Jay Wilson (Amy), Brent Whitaker (Tina), Ellen Flowers and Brandon Whitaker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Prospect Cumberland Presby Church (301 Trilla Rd, Trilla, IL 62469). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
