She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer G. Roeder and Frances E. Roeder (Holiday); her husband Rev. Gordon H. Carls; her sons, Steven and Jeffrey Hylin; and her sister Phyllis Bucar.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Schrader of Peru; her grandchildren, Nichlos Pelka (Krystal), Jason Pelka (Kelley) and Janeth Orellana; her siblings-in-law, Lois Boe and Robert Hylin; Phil Carls (Tammy) and David Carls. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
