It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elin Ann Arnold-Mitchell of Tonica, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Elin departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Elin. Though Elin may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Richardson and Marjorie Richardson; and her husbands, Shannon Arnold (Julie), Matthew Arnold and Patrick Arnold (Julia).
She is survived by: her former husband Lawrence Calvin Mitchell (Larry) of Tonica; and her brothers, Ray Richardson and Larry Scott Richardson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, in-laws, and many treasured friends and relationships.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tonica United Methodist Church (423 E Wauponis St, Tonica, IL 61370).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be used for a fund that will be established at a later date.
