He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Knowles (Ginger) of Mackinaw, Justin Knowles (Jessica) of La Fayette, Gregory Bryce Knowles (Hannah) of Toulon and Brant Knowles of Toulon; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jason and Jillian; his brothers, Clifford Knowles, Kenny Knowles (Gail) and Keith Knowles; and his girlfriend Cathy Nevells.
