Betty June Wise Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty June Wise of Tovey, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Leander Curtis; her husband Rev. Howard E. Wise, Sr.; her mother Lillian Marie Cavatorta (Dixon); and her siblings, Leander Byers, Jr. and Sharon Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalee Wingo of Tovey, IL, Vivian Cearlock of Kincaid, IL, Roger Wise (Verna Coleman) of Kincaid, IL, Vernon Wise (Anna) of Kincaid, IL, Precilla Wise (Tony Coleman) of Kincaid, IL and Howard Wise, Jr. of Kincaid, IL; her grandchildren, Scott, Adam Wingo, Trish Wise-Mendoza, Daniel, Matthew Fleming, Glen Thomas, Howard Wise III, Ashley Wise, Devin Wise, Hunter Wise, Logan Wise, Emily Wise and Donald "Tate" Wise; and her stepbrother Joseph Cavatorta (Sharon) of Mt. Carmel, IL. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kincaid Baptist Church (521 Dial St, Kincaid, IL 62540). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
