We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2023, at the age of 96, Robert E. Carmody of Towanda, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert E. Carmody to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Carmody and Alice Grimes Carmody. He is survived by : his wife Catherine Ann Seright; and his children, Cathy Graham, Lucy Simkins (Joe) of Novi, MI, Julie Weber (John), Edward Carmody and Alice Schilkoski. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
