He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stuber and Lillian Stuber (Pflederer); his son Robert "Bob" Stuber; his siblings, Dwayne Stuber, Kenneth Stuber and Lois Lucas (Stuber); and his grandsons, Daniel and David Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Stuber (Bolliger) of Tremont; his daughters, Vicki Schurter (Rich), Margie Christenson (Kurt) and Cathy Edwards (Vince); and his grandchildren, Paul, Michael Schurter, James, Jonathan, Peter Christenson, Joshua Edwards and Jeanette Edwards. He is also survived by 5 great-grand daughters and 7 great-grandsons.
