With sadness, we share the passing of Jeannette Beutel of Tremont, Illinois. Jeannette, born on August 25, 1939, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Wagenbach and Louise Wagenbach (Klein); and her siblings, Robert, Mary Gerber, Joyce Schneider, Shirley Funk, Sharon Elsasser, Lois Metzger, Simon Jr., Stephen and David.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Beutel; her children, Teresa Rowell (Landon) of Tremont, Illinois, Jennifer Fuller (Nathan) of Tremont, Illinois, Marcia Dennis (Rob) of Tremont, Illinois, Julie Cockrell (Chris) of Tremont, Illinois, William Beutel (Brittany) of Tremont, Illinois, Steven Beutel (Kari) of Princeville, Illinois and Diana Gudeman (Lucas) of Stafford Springs, CT.; her siblings, Carol Steiner (John) of Mediapolis, IA, Judy Wettstein (Vern) of Eureka, Charlotte Metzger (Bill) of Rock Rapids, Helen Bauman (Les) of Eureka, Jim Wagenbach of Tremont, Kathy Rocke of Tremont, Becky Bauman (Glen) of Congerville, Ron Wagenbach (Liz) of Tremont and Dale Wagenbach (Mary) of Tolland, CT; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Metzger of Hills, Jordan Elsasser of Eureka, Barbara Wagenbach, Annette Schambach of Tremont and LaVonne Getz (Eldon) of Remington, Indiana.. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Apostolic Christian Church (601 S Chestnut St, Tremont, IL 61568).
