As Lola departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lola may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lola leaves behind.
She is survived by: her husband James D. McCallen; her sons, James "Scott" McCallen and Douglas D. McCallen (Mary); and her grandsons, Justin McCallen (Emily), Jared Bontemps (Shelbie), Lucas McCallen, Jeremiah Bontemps (Krista), Joshua McCallen and Matthew McCallen (Lily). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tremont United Methodist Church in her honor.
