She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Kays and Lena McDow Kays; and her brothers, Donald Gene, Milton and Paul.
She is survived by: her son Travis J. Hicks of Pekin; her grandchildren, Landon Michael DeFoer of Iowa City, Kaydence Parker Hicks of Pekin and Daine Hunter Hicks of Brimfield; her great grandchild Hunter Alan Hicks; and her siblings, Darrell Kays (Nancy Ann) of Estero, FL and Peggy Hicks (Herb) of Burlington, KY.. She is also survived by her grandchildren and was an animal and bird.
