He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon R. Garman and Helen E. Nannen Garman; his brother Douglas Garman; and his sister-in-law Brenda Kuntz (Wells). He is survived by: his children, Zachariah Garman (Carmen) of Mapleton, Christopher Garman of Tremont and Nikita Holton (Alan) of Las Vegas, NV; and his grandchildren, Jude and Quinn.
