We bid farewell to Cleo M. Eversgerd of Trenton, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 1, 2025 at the age of 101. Cleo touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Gebke and Elizabeth Gebke (Becker); her husband Gregory Eversgerd; her granddaughter Jacquie Reiser (Ray); her siblings, Cornelius Gebke (Helen), Norbert Gebke (Clara), Larry Gebke (Bernice), Bernard Gebke, Jr. (Rita), Tom Gebke, Betty Eversgerd (Alphonse), Rosemary Goewert (Stanley), Dolores Kohnen (Ted), Patricia Haake (Joe) and Aggie Benhoff (Tony); and her brothers-in-law, Arnold Michels, Paul Jansen and Robert Kohrmann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Mueller (Phil) of Trenton and Diana Duke (Rich Lanter) of Steeleville, MO; her grandchildren, Cheri Schmitt (Bobby), Doug Mueller (Carrie), Deanna Duke, Christopher Duke (Michelle) and Jennifer Schwierjohn (Tim); her great grandchildren, Taylor (Karlee), Mallory Schmitt, Chandler, Haiden Mueller, Bryce Luechtefeld, Christen, Claudia Duke, Lane Schwierjohn, Gabrielle Craig (Steven) and Greg Reiser; her great great grandchildren, Heather, Raegan, Kennedy, Chloe Craig and Rhett Schmitt; and her sisters, Sis Michels of Germantown, Margie Jansen of Bartelso and Blanche Kohrmann of Bartelso. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Mary's Catholic Church and will be received at the church or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St., Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
