She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson and Merel Anderson; her husband Walter "Walt" Smith; her son Steven Peterson; her stepdaughter Martha Sue Smith; and her siblings, Nancy Myers (Dick) and Bill Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Vice (Jimmy) of Lewiston, IL, Brian Peterson (Lisa) of Lansing, MI, Jeff Peterson (Alena) of Newport News, VA and Carolyn Mitchell (Jeff) of Albers, IL; her stepsons, Kevin Smith (Angie) of Florida and Kirk Smith (Dee) of Florida; her brother Rick Anderson (Pam) of Canton, IL; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Anderson of Canton, IL.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Chapel Memory Gardens Cemetery ~ Canton.
