He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Thurman and Evelyn Thurman (Peter) of Trenton, Illinois.; his wife Dixie (Bain); his daughters, Andrea Vogel (Aaron) and Rebecca Thurman; and his grandchildren, Alexandria Thurman-Boswell, Kynleigh Vogel, Kanyon Vogel, Kaydia Vogel, Karlin Vogel and Westly Snell.
