He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Eilers and Henrietta Eilers; his sister Diane Eilers; his brother-in-law Kenny Woltering; and his parents-in-law, Royce and Georgia Frierdich.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel McDaniel (Cory) of Salina, KS, Katie Renschen (Brandon) of Breese and Emily Eilers of Trenton; his grandchildren, Paige, Natalie McDaniel and Elle Renschen; his siblings, Linda Rademacher (Kevin) of O'Fallon, Joyce Woltering of Beaver Prairie, Barb Foote (Jim) of Belleville, Dale Eilers (Vicky) of Beckemeyer and Karen Bennett (Scott) of Breese; and his sister-in-law Mary Mueller (David) of Dublin, NH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church or Clinton County Humane Society and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
