He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Godden and Blanche Godden (Short); and his brothers, Norman Godden, Jerry Godden, Ray Godden and Larry Dean Godden.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Fear; his sons, Chris Stroup (Megan) and Tyler Godden (Gabby); his grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Carter, Lily and Beck; and his siblings, David Godden and Frieda Cisna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
