He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Skaggs and Phyllis Skaggs (Leuallen); his son Shane Skaggs; and his brothers, William, Victor, Bruce and Carl.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Counts Tribble (Owen) of Moscow, ID and Phyllis Sanders Korbett of Cantonment, FL; his brothers, Stephen Skaggs (Linda) of Dallas Georgia and Dennis Skaggs of Hanna City, IL.; and his daughter-in-law Bethany Ann Skaggs (Shane) of Rochester, NH. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
